Opengraph Settings & Hero Images
As PencilBooth was designed to be a visuals-first platform, it's important that your imagery is front and center, especially when sharing links to your booth and individual takes.
OpenGraph is basically the image and text preview that appears in different platforms when you share the link. Here's an example on how one booth looks when pasted into Slack:
As you can see, it's pulling in your avatar, plus some custom text, and then your background image from your booth designer.
You can update the custom text in your profile settings here:
You can use tools like opengraph.xyz to preview how your booth will look.
In addition to your booth, all your takes will also unfurl with OpenGraph:
The default image for your take will be your first image. If you wish to change this, you need to set a different image as the hero image.
